Bill Watts is a Managing Director and leads BGL’s Healthcare Technology investment banking practice within the firm’s Healthcare & Life Sciences Group.
Bill has more than 15 years of professional experience in serving as a trusted advisor and executing public and private healthcare and technology M&A transactions. Bill advises clients within the sectors of Software as a Service (“SaaS”) and tech-enabled healthcare. His experience includes multi-billion dollar mergers, strategic buy-outs, majority recapitalizations, capital raises and structured debt. Bill’s clients range from founders seeking an investment from a strategic partner to PE-backed and public companies.
Prior to BGL, Bill led the Healthcare Information Technology (“HCIT”) Group at Fifth Third Securities and H2C Securities, Inc. after advising public and private clients within Citigroup’s Healthcare M&A division in New York.
